Glimpses are a collection of very short stories intended to capture the essence of very ordinary people, places, or things that I find extraordinary.

All curl. So much drive coiled up in every strand.

She's wounded today, but it's only temporary. She lost someone close just weeks ago and is reeling.

Most days she navigates with dependable strength and resolve but there are moments of profound sadness that she knows are her own. She's patient and kind to herself in a way that brings tears to my eyes. She knows she'll be okay and that the hole will fill with time. Slowly filling in until one day, she will be the source of strength for someone else who's reeling. And she'll be ready.
