I love making art with texture and depth. My favorite parts are the bits that show the underneath or reveal a glimpse of where it started. I also love playing with light using metal, metallic paints, or glitter.
MY FAVORITE PART - THE PROCESS
Here's a snippit of a video looking at the very first paint layer over collage on a large canvas. I love the way the certain things show through while others stay hidden. I could sit for days looking at and feeling the texture. Much of my work is built to last and meant to be touched.
The photo below is the final piece sealed in high gloss to highlight the texture and fun details.
